The purposes for which this Club exist are the following: To promote interest in amateur radio communication and experimentation. The fostering of education in electronic communication as it applies amateur radio. The development of individual efficiency in a rewarding environment for the membership, and to promote the advantages of amateur radio to our community.

 

ROADS holds a General Membership Meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. The meeting location is the Polk County Courthouse in Dallas. Everyone is welcome, especially visitors. Use the main entrance to the building on the East side off Jefferson Street. Come see us, we are sure you will want to join us.

 

 

ROADS issues a monthly newsletter entitled "The ROAD Report” to keep everyone up to date on upcoming activities and Hamfest's as well as the happenings in the club. Submission of material is invited from ROADS members and other interested parties. Input for the newsletter should be submitted to the Editor no later than the first Wednesday of the month. An archive of newsletters is included on this web site.
